Canada ranked first for governance, people, and immigration and investment in the Anholt-Ipsos Nations Brand Index 2021.
The Nations Brand Index, which measures the reputations of nations worldwide, ranked 60 countries based on survey results from 60,000 interviews.
Canada moved up to second place in the Index for the first time in its history and ranked first for governance, people, and immigration and investment.

In the Index, Canada ranked first in the immigration and investment, governance and people categories while also steadily ranking towards the top in the remaining categories.
Over the last two years, Canada solidified its top-three status in the Nations Brand Index before placing second in this year’s rendition, overtaking the United Kingdom.
The top-ranked country in the Anholt-Ipsos Nations Brand Index was Germany, retaining its position at the top for the last five years.
Canada has steadily gained popularity among immigration applicants thanks to its superior quality of life and benefits for its residents.
In addition to leading medical facilities and educational institutions, Canada also offers beneficial and available employment opportunities – with Canadian PR – to applicants through its Express Entry system and various Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).
