Australian Immigration

Five business investment opportunities in Adelaide!

Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, was recently ranked as the most livable city in Australia – and the third-most livable city globally – by the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU).

Then, South Australia itself was named as one of Australia’s top business migration destinations.

Hence, it is no surprise that South Australia is the most preferred State for investors and entrepreneurs worldwide looking to apply for business migration to Australia.

To help you learn more about the business opportunities in South Australia, here are five of the most popular investment opportunities in Adelaide:

·       Grain Export;

·       Convenience Stores;

·       Renewable Energy;

·       IT Startups;

·       Manufacturing.

Entrepreneur visa (subclass 188E) – A great pathway for Australian business migration!

Australia’s subclass 188E visa is the Entrepreneur stream of the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa.

This visa is for startup and early-stage entrepreneurs nominated by an Australian State or Territory Government to bring and develop their business concepts in Australia.

The requirements of this visa include being nominated by an Australian State or Territory Government, and having a complying entrepreneur activity in Australia.

Business migrants to Australia with the subclass 188E visa can have their family members immigrate to Australia with them, and apply for Australian PR and citizenship if certain conditions are met.

Recently, a Canadian government study looked at how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting the labour in each Canadian province.

With border closures due to the pandemic stifling Canada’s migrant intake, many key industries, including tourism and hospitality, have been unable to continue their operations as usual.

·       Information systems analysts and consultants (NOC 2171);

·       User support technicians (NOC 2282);

New Zealand Immigration

New Zealand to slowly open international borders in 2021

New Zealand has announced that it will slowly open international borders this year due to rising skill shortages.

Having imposed some of the strictest border restrictions to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, massive skill shortages in NZ have left several critical industries desperate for personnel.

Last year, NZ’s net migration was recorded to be only 6,600 – only 7 per cent of the 91,000 recorded in 2019.

Essential industries in NZ that depend on migrant workers, such as the healthcare sector, have suffered from severe migrant shortages caused by restricted migration, leading to key industries lobbying to the Government to reopen borders for vaccinated migrants.

Five fascinating facts on Canada!

Canada is one of the most alluring countries in the world, and is also called the Great White North for its vast frozen landscapes. Having an abundance of scenic landscapes, lush forests, and sparkling lakes and rivers, Canada is a regular choice of tourism destination for travelers from all around the world!

To help you learn more about Canada, here are five fascinating facts on the Great White North!

  1. Canada is an incredibly vast country, and the sheer size of the country is mind-blowing! It is the largest country in the Western hemisphere, and is the second-largest country in the world, after Russia. Moreover, Canada is bigger than the entire European Union, is 33 times bigger than Italy, and 15 times larger than France!
  2. Sticking to size, Canada is also home to three of the world’s ten biggest islands! The Baffin Islands are more than double the size of Great Britain, while Victoria Island and Ellesmere Island are both roughly as big as England!
  3. Canada’s lowest recorded temperature is akin to Mars! On February 3, 1947, the temperature in Snag, Yukon was recorded to be -63 C, which is roughly the same temperature as the Martian surface!
  4. Canada is home to the longest coastline in the world, measuring 202,080 kilometers. Together with Cape Breton, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island, Canada’s mainland coast is bordered by three different oceans: the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific. It would take you more than four years to walk the length of the coastline without any stoppages whatsoever!
  5. Canada also boasts around 10 per cent of the world’s entire forest area! Canada has an incredible 396.9 million hectares of real estate belonging to forests and wooded lands, most of which are publicly owned!
