Engineers belonging to these disciplines will have their applications be fast-tracked by priority processing for Australian immigration.

Canada looking at reopening borders in September for tourism
Canada is looking at possibly reopening its borders to other countries in early September for fully vaccinated tourists, a readout from the Prime Minister’s office suggests.
The readout also suggests that the Canada-U.S. border could be reopened by mid-August for fully vaccinated tourists, as Canada looks to restart tourism to boost the country’s economy following the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the readout, Canada could be well placed to welcome fully vaccinated tourists by mid-August from the United States and by early September from the rest of the world if its current vaccination rates and public health conditions continued.

Migrants stage hunger strikes in Brussels for residence rights
Around 400 undocumented immigrants are staging hunger strikes in Brussels to demand residence rights in Belgium.
The immigrants, who have already been in Belgium for years, have suffered from business closures due to the pandemic and have been unable to claim relief payments because of their undocumented status.
Although Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo has refused to cave in to their demands, his administration has come under mounting pressure to find a solution, especially from some members of the coalition parties who have threatened to quit the coalition, which would leave the government in danger.
